Ruth's work has been inspired by the plants and flowers she grows or forages in her own garden in Belfast. Some of her earliest memories are of following her mum around the garden looking at all the flowers, learning their names and admiring the colours and shapes. That fascination has never left her. Her paintings celebrate life and its fleeting moments of beauty.
